If Hollywood and Bollywood were to make co-productions then My Name is Khan even though made by Indian star-director Karan Johar would be a great debut. The film is about a man, played by Shah-Rukh Khan (SRK) who suffers Asperger's syndrome. He falls in love with Kajol and even though it is an inter-religious marriage between a Muslim and Hindu all is well until 9-11. A tragedy befalls the couple and their son, and from there life’s tribulations start. SRK is treated as a terrorist and he goes on a quest to find and meet the President, so he can tell him that he is not a terrorist. The chemistry between the lead actors is legendry and this film is no exception. The story although melodramatic at times, direction, production quality and acting are all wonderful. The film may have its critics, but it is well worth a watch.
