A wonderful story about two young lovers from Colombia who want to seek their fortunes in New York. The story follows in parallel the challenges that especially the young man Marlon faces from homelessness, to getting shelter, with the journey from Colombia. While in New York the lovers become separated. Marlon is helped by his fellow countrymen especially a woman who owns/works in a restaurant. There are some very interesting personalities that Marlon comes across. This film has similarities to other films about “crossing the border,” but it does it in a fresh narrative. Unfortunately there is some nudity in the film, but overall it’s a wonderful film.
