This is a wonderful short film about an eight year old boy who lives in an Australian refugee detention centre with his mother and sister. His mother's knitting needles are confiscated, by the prison guard and Ali does everything in his power to get her a replacement. With the help of a girl whose parents come to visit the center he is able to get a replacement, only to find that his mothers ball of wool is confiscated. It is a very touching film about how asylum seekers in Australia were treated in the 2002-2005 timeframe.
