This book authored by Anne Blanchard and beautifully illustrated is a gem for not only its intended audience of 4th to 6th graders but anyone who is interested in the subject. There are books and there are books. This is one is an high quality production. It starts with a nice timeline and then goes into the major people and events that make up Muslim and Arab history in the sciences.
