This beautiful book by Karen Katz is great for pre-school children. The story is given from a child’s point of view and explains how from the time he gets up what he experiences in the fast of Ramadan. Besides the fast the boy experiences the prayer and learns the meaning of various customs. The text is straight forward and the illustrations are vivid and colorful.
