This book by Asma Mobin-Uddin is ideal for second to fifth grade. There is a little more reading involved but the book is nicely written and illustrated. The story centers on Leena, a Muslim child and the conflicts she goes through when in the month of Ramadan she is invited to a party. She attends the party but will she give into the temptation to eat or drink. She holds her fast, made doubly challenging as everyone is enjoying some of her favorite foods. Her father is very supportive of her. Very nicely written and illustrated.
